 Statement of Purpose

At F.A. Rohrbach, Inc., it is our mission to build structures that will last beyond our life time through quality, accountability and integrity. Yet, we must endeavor to answer the question, “Why?” Why should we pursue such a challenging mission instead of liquidating our assets and investing in government backed securities? In answering that question we define the core purpose of F.A. Rohrbach, Inc., which will guide our every strategy and action.

It is our purpose to…

…improve the property value and quality of living for our customers, recognizing that the customer is not necessarily the payer of our services but the user of our services.  The higher the quality of our efforts, in terms of workmanship and timeliness, the higher the return on investment we will produce for our customers.

AND

…. provide careers, not simply jobs, which allow our employees to achieve their personal missions. We will be accountable to our employees and their families to recognize and reward individual effort to the mission and purpose of F.A. Rohrbach, Inc.  Our competitors will seek to hire-away our employees, yet our turnover shall be low.

AND

…contribute to the success of the communities in which we work. We will recognize that we are invited guests in theses communities. Therefore, we will be accountable to advancement of our communities and protection of their environments.

AND

…contribute to the success of the industry in which we work.  We will recognize that without innovation our industry will fall behind the needs and goals of our customers, employees and communities.  Therefore, we will actively participate in the development of our industry.

AND

…generate sufficient profits to sustain our mission and purpose.  If we are to produce standards of quality, a rewarding workplace, and contributions to communities and industries that are “better by FAR,” then we will require margins that exceed those generally accepted by the industry.  If we fail to achieve this benchmark, then we will fail to fulfill our core purpose, which is unacceptable.
