2015

Allentown Arts Walk, Court Street Extension,

Allentown, Penna.

Subcontracted to construct pedestrian walkway and pocket park as part of downtown Allentown's revitalization. Scope of work included architectural concrete for paving and fountain structure and porous concrete paving.


2014

Rock Tenn Waste Water Treatment

Delaware Water Gap, Penna.

Contracted as prime contractor for the construction of 200,000 gallon water treatment tank. Scope of work included micropiles, mat foundation with grounding and waste water piping, tank walls up to 26' high. All complete within limit access constricted by the Bushkill Creek and existing manufacturing plant.

2013

PPL Intrepid Data Center

Fogelsville, Penna.

Subcontracted to construct 27,000 SF pervious concrete parking lot as part of a 114,000SF ENERY STAR and LEED rated building project.


2012

Stadium Repair
Bethlehem Area School District

Bethlehem, Penna.

Contracted as prime contractor for repairs to BASD's iconic Grenadier Stadium. Scope of work included selective demolition, concrete remediation and surface treatments, structural framing repairs, lead abatement and high performance coatings, and fencing.

2011

21st Century Town Square (ArtsQuest)

Bethlehem, Penna.

Contracted as prime contractor for the construction infrastructure for Bethlehem's largest visitor venue. Scope of work included curb and concrete paving for base course, finish course and architectural surface treatments, heavy foundations and structural flatwork for stages and sculptures, fencing and site amenities.


2010

Bethlehem Skateplaza

Bethlehem, Penna.

Contracted as prime contractor for the construction the one acre park/civil improvements and 14,400 SF skateplaza. Scope included site improvements, concrete construction of obstacles inspired by architectural features found in skate parks the world over including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Barcelona and London, metal copings/railing and fencing. Received Southeastern Pennsylvania Associated Builders & Contractors' Award of Excellence in Construction in Public Works and Associated Builders and Contractors (National) Pyramid Award in Other Construction under $2 Million for this project.

2009

Parking Garage, Phase I
Ben Franklin Technology

Bethlehem, Penna.

Contracted to construct foundation for three level precast parking structure. Scope included setting of all imbeds/anchorages for the structure, gang-forming foundation walls, concrete fills and sitework.


2008

Lehigh County Courthouse Addition

Allentown, Penna.

Contracted as prime contractor for foundation/flatwork concrete construction of 60,000SF courthouse addition. Scope included 36” mat foundation with 25’ high gang-formed wall sections completed during winter conditioning. Employed maturity testing to verify in-place concrete strengths and curing processes. Work completed under tight security requirements while court was in session.

2007

Emmaus Main Street Improvements

Emmaus, Penna.

Contracted as prime contractor for the construction of streetscape improvements to Emmaus’ prime commercial district. Scope included coordination of activities and subcontractors that minimized traffic and business disruption. All work was completed without a single complaint to borough administrators.


2006

Ninth Street Elevator Addition

Allentown, Penna.

Contracted as prime contractor for the construction of three story, two stop elevator addition to downtown landmark parking garage. Responsible for permits, inspections, schedule and supervision of no less than a dozen subcontractors. All work completed while pre-school activities were in progress.

2005

Gamma Knife Simulator II
Muhlenberg Hospital

Bethlehem, Penna.

Contracted to construct second radiation containment room adjacent to 1004 project. This project included similar details as the 2004 project, but also included a 36” structural cast in place, heavyweight concrete ceiling placed through the existing slab on deck. Received Associated Builders & Contractors of Lehigh Valley’s Award of Excellence in Construction in Concrete Construction for this project.


2004

Gamma Knife Simulator
Muhlenberg Hospital

Bethlehem, Penna.

Constructed radiation containment room within the basement of an existing, operating hospital. Scope of work included demolition of existing slab/foundation, construction of up to 34” thick high-density walls to the underside of the existing deck and slab replacement within very tight equipment specifications. Designed formwork and concrete mix design for self-consolidating mix to be placed under pressure.

2002

Allentown Arts Walk, Phase I

Allentown, Penna.

Constructed 22,000 square foot concrete pedestrian walkway and performance plaza using six different colors. Performed as prime contractor for coordination of excavation/demolition, imprint concrete, ornamental structures, landscaping and fencing. Received Associated Builders & Contractors of Lehigh Valley’s Award of Excellence in Construction and American Concrete Institute/Delaware Valley Chapter Grand Prize in Site Construction for this project.


2001

Kraft Renaissance Project

Bethlehem, Penna.

Constructed twenty-four 10' diameter tank foundations for 34,000 lb. vats. Responsible for demolition, excavation, formwork design, reconstruction of floor slab and containment curbs under very tight safety, quality control, and project schedule constraints.


2000

Jacobsburg Environmental Center

Belfast, Penna.

Removed existing wood bridge and reconstructed abutments. Installed new 110 foot clear span metal/wood bow-string bridge. Performed as prime contractor responsible for coordination of bridge fabrication, crane services, landscaping and fencing.


1999

Camp Snoopy, Dorney Park

Allentown, Penna.

Constructed nine ride foundations and over 80,000SF of midway paving for this children’s theme area a within the park. Construction of the midway paving was aided by the use of our Somero laser screed with its three-dimensional profiler system.

1998

The Dominator, Dorney Park

Allentown, Penna.

Constructed concrete mat foundation for 200 high thrill ride. Responsible for placement of 21 tons of reinforcing steel in thirteen layers, setting of twelve 1.5 ton anchors within 1/16” tolerance, and placement of 300 cubic yards concrete for mat foundation. Received Associated Builders & Contractors of Lehigh Valley’s Award of Excellence in Construction in Heavy Construction for this project.
